This is not the first time my paintings have been exhibited, but it is the first time there have been so many of them, and the first time I have accompanied other artists.
How the exhibition came about
I can say that this exhibition began with the gallery itself and the work of its founder, who strongly supports young artists and quite often organises open calls. I took part in two of them before the exhibition and, at one point, asked about the possibility of holding one of my own. Some time later, I was offered the chance to hold a joint exhibition and, of course, I agreed.
Works in the exhibition
I’d been wanting to exhibit my work in person for a long time and find out what people thought of it. The exhibition featured my recent works in oil and pastel. All the pieces had a spring and summer theme; it seemed to me that, after a long, cold winter, this was exactly what both people and I needed.
Experience and feedback
In the end, I enjoyed it very much: it was a wonderful experience. I am very grateful to everyone who helped, attended and bought my work. The experience of speaking with the audience and receiving their feedback was also important.
