Choosing an original painting for a space

Choosing art is not simply a matter of matching colours. Consider the scale of the wall, viewing distance, direction of daylight and the rhythm of nearby furniture. A painting can quietly support a room or introduce a contrast that gives the whole interior structure. The useful starting point is the real relationship between the work and its setting.

Catalogue pages provide format, technique, materials and availability. Photographs help communicate colour and texture, although a screen cannot fully reproduce the depth of a painted surface. Additional views, details and personal guidance are available before a decision.

Original work, certificate and delivery

Each original painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity identifying title, authorship, technique, dimensions and date. Delivery is planned around format, framing and destination, with packing designed to protect the surface, edges and mounting throughout the journey.

If several works feel appropriate, add them to a private selection. Photographs and measurements of the room make it possible to compare proportions and resolve practical questions without replacing the personal response that ultimately guides a choice.

Everyday care

A well-placed painting needs straightforward care: avoid prolonged direct sunlight, high humidity, sudden temperature changes and nearby radiators.
