Buying and delivery
Terms of sale
How a work is bought, what shipping costs, when it arrives and what you can do if you change your mind. These terms apply to distance sales made through this site.
Last updated: 2 August 2026
1. Who sells
The seller is Alexandra Kozeikina, an independent artist in Alicante, Spain. The contact for orders, problems and returns is studio@abeillegallery.com. Every work is unique: there are no editions and no restocking, so a sold piece leaves the catalogue.
2. Prices
Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes. They exclude shipping, which is calculated by destination and shown on the artwork page itself before you send any enquiry. Orders from 400 € ship at no cost. If we spot an obvious pricing error we tell you before confirming, and you may withdraw at no cost.
3. How a purchase is made
The site has no automated checkout. You add a work to your selection and send an enquiry; within 24 hours you receive confirmation of availability, the final amount including shipping and the payment details. The purchase closes when payment is received. From confirmation onward the work is reserved in your name and offered to no one else.
4. Payment
Bank transfer and PayPal are accepted. No card details are requested or stored through the site. The invoice is emailed together with the certificate of authenticity for the work.
5. Shipping and timings
Work is packed by hand in Spain: glassine over the painted surface, bubble protection and a rigid box with reinforced corners. Pastel is fixed with varnish before dispatch. Works ship unframed unless agreed otherwise. We pack and hand the parcel to the carrier within three working days of payment, and you receive the tracking number the same day. Rates and delivery times by destination are set out on the shipping page.
6. Customs outside the European Union
Within the European Union there are no customs formalities or charges. The Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the United Kingdom and the rest of the world sit outside the EU customs union: duties or import taxes may apply on arrival and are paid by the buyer.
7. Right of withdrawal
You have fourteen calendar days from receiving the work to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason, under Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. To exercise it, email studio@abeillegallery.com within that period. The work must be returned complete, undamaged and in its original packaging; return shipping is paid by the buyer. We refund the amount paid, including the original shipping, within fourteen days of receiving the work back and checking its condition.
8. Works damaged in transit
Check the parcel on arrival. If the packaging is dented or the work has been damaged, photograph both the parcel and the piece and write to us within 48 hours of delivery. We will raise the claim with the carrier and agree with you on repair, replacement where possible, or a refund.
9. Guarantee and authenticity
Each work is delivered with a signed certificate stating title, technique, dimensions and year of creation. The legal guarantee of conformity under Spanish consumer law applies. The guarantee does not cover deterioration caused by unsuitable display: direct sunlight, damp, heat sources, or cleaning with water or household products. Recommended conditions are set out on the care page.
10. Complaints and applicable law
Send any complaint to studio@abeillegallery.com; we reply within one month at the latest. These terms are governed by Spanish law and by European consumer protection rules. You keep the right to approach the competent consumer bodies and the courts at your place of residence.
